Cell Analysis
Cell analysis is an indispensable approach that enables the understanding of biological processes across a wide range, from basic research to clinical applications. It allows for the evaluation of numerous parameters, such as cell viability, proliferation, apoptosis, gene expression, and protein-level responses.
To support your cell-based research, we offer a comprehensive product portfolio ranging from transfection systems to viral transduction solutions, stem cell analysis to genetic modification technologies.
In-Fusion Cloning
In-Fusion Cloning technology enables cloning from any region of any vector in 15 minutes without requiring ligation or restriction enzyme use. Thanks to its directional insert, it eliminates the need for verification, thereby offering a new perspective on cloning.
- Operates with 95% efficiency
- Fragments ranging from 0.5 kb to 34 kb can be cloned
- Can be used for site-directed mutagenesis, insertion/deletion, and multiple fragment cloning studies
- No extra bases are added, unlike in TA cloning or enzymatic cloning
- Does not require subcloning
Transfection
Transfection is one of the methods frequently used in cell culture studies. Therefore, it is important that the agent used does not have a toxic effect on cells, ensures transfection in a short time, and works efficiently across a wide range of cells.
Takara has minimized cell toxicity and reduced transfection time to as little as 4 hours with its polymer-based Xfect agents. Furthermore, it does not require the use of Opti-MEM medium.
- DNA and plasmid transfection
- RNA transfection
- Protein transfection
- Gene Pulser Xcell system
Viral Transduction
Transduction is the process of transferring genes or gene sequences into cells using viral vectors or viruses. In gene therapy studies, gene transfer must be performed easily and efficiently.
Takara’s extensive portfolio specific to mammalian systems provides vector systems suitable for your work and offers new solutions to streamline your workflow.
- AAV
- Adenovirus
- Lentivirus
- Retrovirus
Stem Cell Research
Stem cells are cells that can self-renew and differentiate into specialized cell types when needed. iPSCs (induced Pluripotent Stem Cells), obtained through the reprogramming of somatic cells, possess properties similar to embryonic stem cells and can be used in research without raising ethical concerns.
To support your iPSC and stem cell research, we offer NGS-based genetic analysis panels, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing technologies, cell culture media, and advanced analysis solutions.
- Stem Cell Media and Supplements
- Stem Cell Characterization
- Stem Cells and Cells Derived from Stem Cells
- Primer Sets for Pluripotency
T Cell Therapies
CAR-T and TCR-based T cell therapies offer an effective immunotherapy approach, particularly for resistant cancers. In these treatments, T cells are genetically modified and programmed to recognize specific cancer antigens before being reintroduced into the patient.
We support your work in this field with genomic analysis panels and molecular diagnostic solutions.
- Takara T cell transduction and culture medium
- Proteintech T cell characterization and separation kits
CRISPR/Cas Technology
The CRISPR/Cas system is a powerful tool that enables gene editing by creating targeted cuts in DNA and can be guided by RNA. The cell activates mechanisms such as NHEJ (knock-out) or HDR (knock-in) to repair these cuts.
We offer reliable analysis panels and molecular biology solutions for your CRISPR-based genome editing studies.
